Current positions
Medical Lab Technician
Tri-County Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified Medical Technician for nights, weekends and call.
Must have CLT certification and at least one year’s experience in a clinical lab. Desired: CLT (ASCP) certification.
Qualified applicants must have clinical laboratory knowledge and skills; ability to apply knowledge, think and respond quickly and work independently. Must maintain effectiveness in changing work environments; be able to work well as a member of diverse healthcare teams; focus on patient needs and others caring for patients; and always demonstrate courtesy and timeliness for both.

Speech Language Pathologist
Responsible for planning, directing and administering diagnostic and therapeutic services with goals of restoring function, teaching compensation and maximizing safety. The SLP may work with a spectrum of individuals receiving acute care; transitional care; long-term care; and outpatient therapy. The SLP provides care according to hospital, state, professional and federal regulations and guidelines. The SLP helps create an environment and culture focused on patient-centered treatment.
Required Skills: Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university, and appropriate state licensure and affiliation with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers and multi-disciplinary team members. Maintain effective teaming skills, patient/family counseling and appropriate referrals as necessary to ensure patient, family, staff and hospital needs are met.
Preferred Skills: General knowledge and experience of cognitive, communicative and swallowing evaluations and treatments, Medicare coding/billing/paperwork requirements, and experience conducting/interpreting swallowing studies preferred. Have the ability to plan your own day and set your own schedule.
Physical Therapy Assistant
Responsible for implementation of physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with the supervising physical therapist’s treatment plan. This will include correctly performing muscle testing; joint motion testing; use of physical agent modalities; following all precautions related to a patients diagnosis; transfers and ambulates patients with safe, proper techniques.
The PTA also contributes to the patient-evaluation process by gathering data, administering structured tests and reporting observations.
Under PT supervision, the PTA contributes to the treatment-plan development and implementation, and monitoring and documentation of response. The PTA will contribute to organizational development of the Rehabilitation Services department. These tasks can include supportive activities such as developing protocols and developing therapeutic activities through a collaborative effort with other therapists and aides.
At Tri-County Memorial the scope of PT practice roles covers a diverse population. Our population includes a wide age span from pre-teen to end of life. The Rehabilitation Services department provides therapy to the Nursing Home, Hospital acute and transitional care unit, and outpatient populations -- all with shared goals of restoring function and preventing further disability to reach agreed-upon functional levels. Therapists may specialize in area(s) or work with spectrum of inpatients, outpatients, long-term care resident.
Rehab Services features an on-site fitness center for patient treatment and staff use. Documentation is on the Epic electronic medical record.

Certified Nursing Assistants
Tri-County Memorial is seeking both part-time and full-time Certified Nursing Assistants. Positions will work in the Hospital and Nursing Home and/or Sunrise Manor.
All candidates must have current Wisconsin CNA licensure. We prefer experienced CNAs whose employment record prove they can provide superb patient, resident and tenant care. We welcome new CNAs who dedicate themselves to providing exceptional care; are team players; adapt well to change; and who are highly motivated.
